Control through the water

This stage focuses on building strength and confidence in both freestyle and backstroke arms, extending skills to 8 metres. Swimmers reintroduce butterfly kick, working towards a smooth 5-metre kick to develop rhythm and body control. A seated dive is also introduced, preparing members for the kneeling dive in Stage 8.
