RIFLE CLUB

A safe, challenging sport for all

Established to foster small-bore target shooting within Castle Hill, the Castle Hill RSL Rifle Club meets on the second and fourth Sundays monthly, excluding a six-week hiatus over Christmas. Beginning at 9:00 am, participants engage in up to four 25-minute shooting sessions, concluding by 11:30 a.m. The Hyland Park Rifle Range, located at 2A Hyland Road, Greystanes, serves as the venue for these activities.

Membership costs $50 annually, and each shooting day/event incurs a $5.00 range fee for adults, halved for juniors. Membership with the Castle Hill RSL Group is obligatory, and shooters must possess a current NSW Firearms License Category A, accommodating .22 calibre rifles and air rifles. The club provides 50-metre and 20-metre ranges and offers guidance for acquiring a firearms licence.

Equipment such as club rifles, stands, and bags are available free of charge, with ammunition supplied to licensed individuals or those participating under a P650 application.
